The Revelation of End Times

The last book in The Bible is called The Revelation.  One of the major themes of Revelation is the unveiling by God of future events.  If we are to discuss what will happen in the End Times, we must therefore look to The Bible.

This Book of Revelation explains the last period of history before The Tribulation Period, a period of time called "The Great Apostasy".  This Great Apostasy describes the departure from Biblical truth which the Bible tells us will occur right before the Antichrist will be revealed.  This time of The Great Apostasy has apparently already started -- with many men and women departing from Biblical truth and going off into error.

Now the Bible speaks "expressly" that in the Last Days, some would depart from the faith, by giving heed to the teaching of demons.  (See 1 Timothy 4:1 and following).  The implication, therefore, is that those "departing" people referred to in the Bible are actually church-goers who are at least nominal Christians, (Christians in name only).  However, the Bible tells us that these "Christians", (who are not genuine), will be taught some demonic doctrines, they would believe these doctrines, and then they would depart from the faith.

As an example of such error, one or more fundamental truths of the Christian faith are now being denied by most preachers, (and by the vast majority of professors teaching these preachers in the seminaries.)  Such a widespread disbelief in and rebellion against God and His Word is therefore a sign that the End Times might now be coming upon us.

However, The Revelation of Bible End Times goes even further.  God says that the Great Whore, (Roman Catholicism), will soon work with the Antichrist.  She will work even harder than she has in the past both trying to get people to sin and also persecuting those who refuse The Great Roman Catholic Whore's commands to commit such sin.  Those who put Jesus and the Bible first and therefore refuse the sin of taking the "Mark of The Beast" will be beheaded or killed in another manner by the Antichrist and his Whore, the Roman Catholic Church.

The Bible reveals that this Antichrist will also have a number -- the number "666".  Some people have theorized that this number "666" might mean that the first, middle, and last names of the Antichrist will all have six letters to them.  Others believe that this "666" number only means that the Antichrist will be a man, since six is the number of man.

We do not yet know who this Antichrist will be, but we should know rather soon, because apparently we are now living in the very last days before "The Rapture" of Christians into Heaven and then the revealing of the Antichrist to those in the world who are "Left Behind" when The Rapture occurs.

In the Book of Revelation, the Bible tells us that The Great Tribulation will be a period of time of distress on the Earth such as the world has never seen.  God's Two Witnesses will preach on the Earth during this seven year period of time.  This period will culminate one day in the fearful and bloody Battle of Armageddon.  Christ will then come back to Earth, destroy the Antichrist, and then set up his kingdom in Jerusalem, a kingdom that will last for a thousand years.

After this thousand year period, Satan will once again be allowed to bring about a rebellion against Christ.  Satan will then be cast into Hell, and a new Heaven and Earth will be created.  The dead will also be judged by Christ in a "Great White Throne Judgment".  Those who did not trust Jesus to save them from their sins will then be cast into Hell along with Satan.  The "Saints", (those who did trust Jesus), will then spend Eternity in Heaven with Jesus.

Will you be among those who enjoy the manifold blessings of Heaven for all Eternity?  If you have never trusted Jesus, then unfortunately you will have to spend all of Eternity in Hell, burning with the Devil and his angels -- the demons.

Why not trust Jesus instead?  Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins, and He is up in Heaven right now, waiting to pay for your sins with His blood which He shed on that cross.  Trust Jesus today.  Then get into a good Fundamentalist Baptist church and live for Christ as a serious Christian.  Get ready for the End Times today by trusting Jesus!
